Upstream Classical Presents

Our 2026-27 Season opens with two shows featuring bassoonist Scott Pool (Corpus Christi, TX) performing with EK Duo, the new music outfit of percussionist Thomas Kozumplik (Brooklyn, NY) and bassoonist Rachael Elliott (Lyndon, VT).

EK Duo first played with Scott a couple of years ago while on tour in Corpus Christi, Texas, and we’re thrilled to welcome him to Vermont for his first-ever performances in the Green Mountain State (#40 in his quest to perform in all fifty states).

Our program takes listeners on a wide-ranging journey of music for 2 bassoons and percussion, including classical and new music by Louis Andriessen, Billie Eilish, and our own Thomas Kozumplik.
